Did Favre Ask for a Trade?

Randy Moss is in New England, and everyone is read to give them the Superbowl Championship right now. While they might be the best team on paper, I'm dealing with another issue at this time.

Everyone knows that Brett Farve desperately wanted Randy Moss in Green Bay. He's no dummy, his career is almost over and he wants to win now. It appears that Green Bay was given the option of a 4th round pick and $3million in guaranteed salary for the wide receiver. Not a bad deal at all, yet the Packers declined. They always have been a team to try and get better through the draft. On the other hand, they made their franchise quarterback mad.

But was he mad enough to ask for a trade?

Could we actually see Favre in a jersey other than that of Green Bay?

It appears that one of the greatest football players of all time will be staying put, but he was not happy at all the days after the draft. So unhappy, that reports came out this weekend saying that Favre did indeed ask to be dealt.

It seems that he had every right to be made. Favre has been quoted as saying that he had told management that he was willing to give up part of his contract in order to meet the $3 million to sign Moss. A call from head coach Mike McCarthy did cool Brett down, but he is obviously not happy. The Packers did not do what they needed to in the off season, but rest assured Packers fans, Favre is not going anywhere. But wouldn't it be interesting, possibly next year, to have him playing elsewhere for a contender?

Where do you think he would fit best?
- Let me know what you think and I'll broadcast the results on Saturday show.
